JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
Our client is urgently looking for the qualified Ward Hostess to start working ASAP. Tsebo Solutions Group requires the services of reputable Ward Hostess. You may apply before deadline in case you are interested and have required qualifications as short-listed below.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The applicant wishing to apply for this job must meet the following qualifications;
- Must have Matric
- Must be able to work quickly and safely.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
The applicant must have the following skills and competences
- Must enjoy practical and methodical work
- Must be honest and reliable
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Must be able to work quickly and safely
- Must have good personal hygiene
- Must be free from skin allergies to foods and detergents
- Must have good communication skills
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
- Must have the stamina to work 45-50 hours per week.
- Must be able to bend, stand, and lift.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will have to implement the following duties but not limited to:
- To ensure that all patients receive the correct meals as per patient and doctor instructions
- To complete menu cards
- To ensure that patient water carafes and glasses are clean and that adequate ice water is supplied throughout the day
- To ensure prompt tea service
- To maintain all Company and Hospital standards and procedures
- To be courteous and helpful to patients at all times
- To assists in the preparation of meals, especially salads and desserts.
- To ensure that the quality standards of both customer service and operating processes, health and safety standards, and food standards are met.
- To ensure a high level of customer service within the area of responsibility.
